Main Title: Max Payne

I designed this board as a part of a main title pitch for the movie, Max Payne, starring Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and many other well known actors (and a small role featuring Nelly Furtado…which I had to mention).  Though the director awarded another design we pitched the job, I’m still pretty proud of how this design board turned out.

The concept involved moving through a burning city landscape that would reveal the actors names.  Bullets would blow through shattering glass and in a slow motion, bullet time and their motion trails created dynamic lines to display the names.  After a few of the stars names it transitions into a scene that sets up the sequel and when it finishes, the shot of Mark Wahlberg turns to glass and is shattered by another bullet.  This eventually leads into a silhouetted black cityscape that reveals the names of producers and the like in a less aggressive manner.
